Warrington Vets4Pets Ltd is part of the Vets4Pets group (the website describes practices as “locally owned”). It’s a general-practice clinic that also operates as a veterinary nurse training facility. Recent reviews describe both routine care and urgent walk-in help: one owner says their terrier was seen within minutes for a badly torn claw and wasn’t charged, while another review describes a missed opportunity to triage a vomiting dog for possible toxin ingestion and a phone interaction they felt lacked empathy. Multiple reviewers mention staff being good at explaining things and handling nervous cats.
4.8 stars from 377 reviews. - Fast help for an acute issue, including one account of being seen within minutes for a claw injury and being told there was no charge.

Excellent from start to finish. You can tell the staff truly care about the animals. They were great with my nervous cats

My dog would be alive now if you had only seen him when I phoned on Saturday. Instead he deteriorated on Sunday night and died Monday morning. Could have been avoided. It turns out it looks like he ate chocolate icing that fell on the floor we thought it was changing in his food that was causing him to be sick, I said he was sick 8 times is that not enough to be allowed an appointment? The call taker didn’t even ask important questions like “could have ate something toxic”, this may have made us all think carefully, but they went and spoke to the vet and they said just give him old and new food. When my wife called to tell them he had died, the call handler just said “sorry” and “your direct debit has now been cancelled” she had to then ask what to do with the body. Awful experience, no compassion or empathy and no what if approach just to be on the safe side. Great place for check ups etc, but when you need them they are not interested probably too busy on a Saturday.

My local was unexpectedly closed when my terrier's claw was ripped most of the way out. Headed there and they saw me two minutes later. Two minutes after that they brought him out, put a claw in my hand, and told me there was no charge. Amazing folks.

Didn't enjoy our time at this vets, felt a bit like profits over pets mentality. Receptionists were friendly so I'd give stars for them but glad we moved vet if I'm honest. Thought the practice was a bit unclean too.

Sadly she passed away due to unexpected brain tumour and we had to say hardest goodbye but Dr Ian and staff were very supportive in every step and gave me comfort and peace of mind.
